The days of summer

Oh Wow have things been crazy since January... Again this is another long post...

January start Kieron wrestling season.... It did not go well... First match of the season and he broke his nose at the growth plate... He finished the wrestling for the day.. But by monday it was soooo bad. Doctors order done with wrestling for the season.

Then it was time for Kieron and track... wow what a season he had... he would have done better had he not hurt his knee.... he fractured it and also some how, ended up with a big growth in his knee that had to be taken out... On May 26th Kieron had his knee surgery... By June 14th, the boy was up and going. He took his first job helping a person do irrigation.. he wasnt a fan... but it was money.

I ended up taking a job as the activites directory of the Long Pine recreation center.... Ok I was extremely excited until..... I actually saw the dump and was told how I was to run it. Uggg really people its not the 1960's any more... Children need more than markers(dryed out ones) and paper.

The girls had a very boring summer... There is not swim team.. Im really trying to get one... But man its tough work with no money.... I have to get my self lincensed as a coach and that going to cost 150.00 each level and I have to be level 3... Oh boy. But I have to... my kids did spend the summer swimming... they all had swim lesson and all completed there level... Well Kelby didnt... but he was the youngest child ever to be in swim lessons here... GO US... he is actually figuring it out.

On July 9th we learned that Aubree would need another eye surgery for your eyes... She has "strabismus" or a visual defect in which the eyes are misaligned and point in different directions. One eye may look straight ahead, while the other eye turns inward, outward, upward, or downward. What make her case unussal is that she has perfect 20/20 vision, and normal there is some vision lost with this. When we started working with her eyes in April of 09 she had surgrey in May 09 to correct Exotropia or an outward-turning eye... The first doctor over correct her eye causing Esotropia the eyes turn inward.... In August 09 the Doctor again went to correct this condition and we went back to the Exotropia.... We just had surgery again july 29th... and after getting an infection some how she is looking great.... Heres to a successfull surgery... Thank Doctor Troia... I want to thank my sister for coming and taking care of things around the house while we were away for a couple of days.... my parents for coming up to Omaha and being with Will and I for Aubree surgery.. Next on our list of things to do.... Kelbys surgery.. fun times.

We did however find time to do some fun stuff.... We went to the river and let the kids swim and have fun.. the river water is so warm and its not very deep it was wonderful and made for a great lazy day... Next venture was camping and Tubing Long Pine Creek.... Where the water is never warmer than 50 degrees, oh what fun it was cold but fun, my kids loved it. Mind you the creek is 9 miles away and the river is 10. All you need is a chair and a cooler, the rest is up to you. grab the day by the horns and make it yours.
While on our first trip to Omaha we checked out the Children mesuem, what fun was had by all. It was great. We also hit Dave and Busters and then off to a Go Kart track( that was a blast).

I would have like to have done more with the kids, but the federal Government screwed us out of our Frist time home buyers credit, therefore, we lost $5,400 to play with... While most of it was for us to do work on the house and pay for some other things for the house... We were going to us some of it for vacations. I have sent my letter of appeals, but how often to we win against the Federal Governement... Yep the Governement is wonderful...ha ha!!! If you pray, please pray that they accept our appeal and send us the money... The girls need there room fixed, Kieron too, we need windows, fencing, pay our taxes and house insurnace in Novemember....

We looking forward to school clothes shopping in Yankton next week and seeing the area around there. My mom will be here on Tuesday and the kids can wait. My dad wont be making this trip, as one of his colleges has become very ill, please pray for Norman to heal.

The spray season for Will was really long, and in fact they are still spraying, but no the reallly late hours... Don't get me wrong, the money was great durning that time, but man did the kids miss there daddy. I really hope that Will can make his way up to management... That would be a great success for him and the money would be great too.

I had a great summer, I meet a wonderful friend... Im so glad that she has come into my life... I look forward to the fall with her and JR High Football and very else that our boys do together. She is very caring and wonderful friend and Jennifer Im glad that God found away to bring us together. I'm sorry you will be left in the daycare world, but Im getting out.. Well I hope. I cant wait for football and very there else that our boys will be doing. Oh by the way,,,,, I heart morgan... (that her cute little girl(10)). Jennifer and I have started a walking program... we decided that after a long day of kids screaming all day, that we need to get out... So we walk, and walk and walk.. We finally figured out the mileage(4.8 miles a night).. GO US!!!

School starts the 18th of August and with that, my house will be empty... It will be Kelby and I take on the world. But it will be fun.. I have applied for a part-time customer service position, and I'm praying that I get the position... It has great growth potential, and I hope to work Kelbys way into a daycare and then preschool, and then school, which will allow me to work full time..

until I get bored again and find time....
